| Jeg vil beskrive meg selv som | My name is Dave or David and I’m 79 years young. I was born in California in the San Francisco Bay area, attended all my schooling there. I joined the US Navy in 1963 and in 1964 was sent to Viet Nam served on the USS Ranger (Aircraft Carrier). While in the Navy due to a shipboard accident I lost both legs below the knees, am ambulatory. As stated, I attended my schooling in the Bay Area winding up at a Business College in Berkeley, CA. (No not Cal. Berkeley). We called it Hinks Tech as it was behind a department store called, Hinks, a very old Department store of Berkeley. Had some good days attending College. Once out of college went to work for the US. Government for 5 years and then went out on my own in my Accounting Bookkeeping Business. I met my wife on the internet in 1997 and we communicated for a couple of years before we met in 1999. I retired from my business after that, and we married in 2001. As it was a late marriage for us both, no Children and first marriage for us both. Once married we went back and forth between California and Michigan as we had two homes. We would spend Winter in California and Summers in Michigan. Had enough of that in 2005 and sold the home in California (due to type of State Government, High Taxes). Don’t get me wrong California has their Oceans, Mountains, the Redwood’s, and the Wineries can’t take that away from them, but the rest of it forget it! And now with the fires they are losing their forests. Too Bad. There is nothing complicated about me, very simple person. I enjoy going to the Theater-Arts, Movies, I fish (stream), Hunt, go out to dinner (chance to look at the person on the other side of the table and focus on just you), Travel been to Alaska 10 times, Maiden voyage of the Viking Star into the Baltic’s, Maritime Providences of Canada, and multiple trips in the good old USA. I have a 31ft motorhome 2017 Gas still like new almost and enjoy the travels. I have a fantasy date, Find a Cabin on a Lake or Stream with an outdoor fire pit and an indoor fireplace. Go out for a fantastic dinner with good wines and return to the cabin for the rest of the evening. If the weather is up to it put a fire in the firepit and just sit very close together with a glass of wine enjoying one another’s company. Or inside on the Bear rug in front of the fireplace (works just as well). Looking for a lady who can put up with an old guy who isn’t bad, and she can complement him and he her. Can and is a great life! |
